 THE ART OF SCIENCE


This years science fair, was my 2nd science fair. And I can really say that it never fails to impress and make the students learn things through science. I also loved how accommodating the speakers were, making sure the students would learn something but would also have fun aswell. We first started off with room full of gadgets for electricity, temperature, biodegradable and non biodegradable. What really caught my attention was, when we were asked to form a circle with our group and hold hands, they then told us to say hooray when the speaker said hephep. As we said hooray we could feel the electric shock through our hands. 

And I think this matter is related to how electromagnetic waves travel. Another gadget that caught my attention was the ''Bicycle Dynamo'' and it is where a generator transforms the kinetic energy from the bicycles motion, and is turned into electrical power. What we did here is one student would go on the bike and paddle, the bike was connected to a house and when the person paddled the house began to light up. And this explains the electric power that was formed through the bikes motion.


During the science fair, alot we're discussed. The different gadgets for electricity, how mars is the esacape planet. How astronauts live in space or how do they eat. and the most important one which is climate change. Fixing our mistakes as human being isn't going to be easy. Because of all the disasters that are happening right now that cannot be stopped. But one thing I've realized that we can do, especially as a student. Is to help one another to make this world a better place. ''TEAMWORK'' by having this I believe that as one we can repair the things that we have done. To make our situation less worse than it already is.

Science is indeed art, I can say this, because of the space dome. Where we got to talk about and see the wonders of the outside world. It is beautiful and an opportunity to able to attend science fair like these. It has taught me to not be afraid to discover or to dig deeper into things. "Science is creatively exploring the unknown, using curiosity to paint the canvas of our imagination and discovery

MY INTRAMS JOURNAL

 Starting off, the preliminaries wasn't really a good start for me because of my health. First day of preliminaries I fainted while playing basketball, it was because of the weather and I had just gotten better recently from having a fever the week before prelims. To me, intramurals was very challenging and ofcourse the games are all about teamwork. And honestly me and my team, that's what we lacked. But after that we talked about how we could be a better team and play as one. And after a few tries we did it. Though we had so many loses, we still managed to be contented, and we knew that we tried our best in every game we played, over all we had fun and didn't see it as something negative. Also because of intrams, I got to meet new people. Got to know people that I see around the campus alot but didn't get to know or talk to fully. Mansaka Tribe

Ang Mansaka ay isang tribo sa timog na bahagi sa Pilipinas, partikular na matatagpoan sa Davao Del Norte o Compostella Valley. Ang Mansaka ay kilala sa pag pamamahala ng kanilang mga gawaing pangkabuhayan lalo na sa pagsasaka, sila din ang nakapamamayani na grupo sa Compostela Valley. Sila ay nakatira dito mula pa noong panahong nilikha sila ng "Magbabaya". Kalahati sa Mansaka tribe ay sumusunod ng "Muslim faith", at ang isang kalahating naman ay pinanatili ang kanilang traditional na pananapampalataya. Ang pangalan na "Mansaka" ay nakukuha sa salita na "man'' tapos ang "saka" naman ay "ascend" sa tagalog pa ay umakyat. Kaya ang ibig sabihin ng "Mansaka" ay, ang pinaka una na mga tao na umakyat sa mga bundok o umkyat sa mga batis. Ayon ni Datu Onlos. ang Mansaka , Mandaya, at kalagan o kagan tribe.
